What knot to use for lures?

Regarded by anglers as one of the strongest knots, the Palomar serves a similar function to the improved clinch knot, securing a hook or swivel to one end of your fishing line, or fastening a fly to a leader.

How do I tie a dropper loop knot?

Dropper Loop Knot Tying Instructions
  1. Form a loop in the line at the desired location. Pass line from one side of loop through and around that side of loop.
  2. Push bottom of original loop up through new opening and hold with teeth.
  3. Pull ends of line evenly until coils tighten and loop stands out from line.
