What is your forearm?

The term forearm is used in anatomy to distinguish it from the arm, a word which is most often used to describe the entire appendage of the upper limb, but which in anatomy, technically, means only the region of the upper arm, whereas the lower "arm" is called the forearm.

Thereof, what is a forearm splint?

Symptoms consist of a dull pain in the forearm. Pain is minor initially but increases as activity continues. Often pin-pointed to the dorsal or back of the hand side of the forearm, mid-way between the wrist and elbow. The patient may experience weakness in the wrist extensor muscles and tenderness deep in the forearm.

How do you stretch your elbow?

Wrist flexor stretch:
  1. Hold your arm straight out so your elbow isn't bent and your palm faces up.
  2. Use your other hand to hold the fingers of your outstretched hand and bend it back toward your body until you can feel it in your inner forearm.
  3. Hold for 15 seconds.
  4. Repeat three to five times.

How do you stretch your Brachioradialis?

Standing Stretch
  1. Stand in a doorway with your shoulders parallel to the doorway's opening.
  2. Reach straight to the side and slightly back to grasp the doorjamb at shoulder level with your right hand.
  3. Turn your body slowly toward the left until you feel a stretch in your upper right arm.
