What is PIP in Android?

Android 8.0 (API level 26) allows activities to launch in picture-in-picture (PIP) mode. PIP is a special type of multi-window mode mostly used for video playback. It lets the user watch a video in a small window pinned to a corner of the screen while navigating between apps or browsing content on the main screen.

How do you switch PIP on directv?

To switch the two channels between the two screens, press the down arrow on your remote. The audio you hear is the channel on the full screen (or left screen if in Side by Side view). You can choose where to move the inset screen by going to the PiP menu and choosing upper right or upper left.

How do I turn off picture in picture on my IPAD?

From the iPad in question, you simply need to do the following:
  1. Open the “Settings” app and go to “General”
  2. Choose “Multitasking”
  3. Flip the switch next to “Persistent Video Overlay” to the OFF (or ON) position.
  4. Exit out of Settings and use the iPad as usual.
