What is difference between convex mirror and concave mirror?

(1) The reflecting surface of the concave mirror is bulged inwards. But the reflecting surface of the convex mirror is bulged outwards. (2) Concave mirror produces real and inverted images (except when the object is placed between pole and focus. But the convex mirror always produces virtual and erect images.

Also know, where convex mirrors are used?

Convex mirrors are used inside the buildings , They are also used in making lenses of sunglasses , They are used in magnifying glass , They are used in securities and they are used in telescopes .

How will our image look when we use a concave mirror or a convex mirror?

Because the image is smaller, more image can fit onto the mirror, so a convex mirror provides for a larger field of view than a plane mirror. This is why they are useful. They are used whenever a mirror with a large field of view is needed. For example, the passenger-side rear view mirror on a car is convex.

How are convex and concave mirrors alike How are they different?

The equations we used for mirrors all work for lenses. A convex lens acts a lot like a concave mirror. Both converge parallel rays to a focal point, have positive focal lengths, and form images with similar characteristics. A concave lens acts a lot like a convex mirror.
