What happens in the light dependent reaction?

At the end of the light-dependent reactions, chloroplasts have converted and stored solar energy in the chemical bonds of ATP, and produced high-energy electrons stored as NADPH. Chloroplasts use this energy to drive the light independent reactions that produce the final sugar molecules.

Hereof, what are the light dependent and light independent reactions of photosynthesis?

The two stages of photosynthesis: Photosynthesis takes place in two stages: light-dependent reactions and the Calvin cycle (light-independent reactions). Light-dependent reactions, which take place in the thylakoid membrane, use light energy to make ATP and NADPH.

How does light dependent and independent depend on each other?

Answer: The light-independent reactions (calvin cycle) use the energy-carrying molecules (ATP and NADPH) from the light-dependent reactions along with absorbed carbon dioxide to form glucose.
