What does it mean to titrate a dose?

Titration is the process of determining the medication dose that reduces symptoms to the greatest possible degree while avoiding possible side effects. When your doctor "titrates" a dose, they are making adjustments to how much medicine you're taking.

How do you carry out a titration?

A titration is carried out using a number of steps: A pipette is used to accurately measure a volume of an alkali, often 25 cm3. A pipette filler is used to draw solution into the pipette safely. The alkali is emptied into a conical flask.
