Common signs and symptoms of the flu include:

  • Aching muscles, especially in your back, arms and legs.
  • Chills and sweats.
  • Headache.
  • Dry, persistent cough.
  • Fatigue and weakness.
  • Nasal congestion.
  • Sore throat.
