What affects the KC?

Kc and Kp are only affected by temperature. The quotient changes due to change in concentration etc. but it adjusts to keep Kp and Kc constant. That is why the equilibrium position changes.

Similarly one may ask, how is KP related to KC?

Kc and Kp are the equilibrium constants of gaseous mixtures. However, the difference between the two constants is that Kc is defined by molar concentrations, whereas Kp is defined by the partial pressures of the gasses inside a closed system.
