Is there a limit to the amount of liquids in checked baggage?
Each liquid in your carry-on bags must be in a bottle or container with a maximum volume of 3.4 oz. There is no bottle volume limit for liquids you pack in your checked baggage.

Do shampoo bottles explode airplanes?
The air expands once the plane is at 35,000 feet but the shampoo doesn't. But if there's no air in the shampoo bottle, then the changing air pressure outside the bottle doesn't affect the liquid contents of the bottle, and all of the goop stays in the bottle.
