How wide is a standard door frame?
Standard entry door measurements: Height: 80 inches (6 feet, 8 inches) Thickness: 1 ¾ inches. Width: 36 inches standard; 30 and 32 inches also available.
The standard height is 80 inches, which you can trim to fit your closet's opening. Sliding glass doors typically consist of two sections: a fixed glass panel and a sliding glass panel—though, three-panel doors are also common. Standard widths for two-panel sliding glass doors are: 60 inches, or 5 feet.
- Standard Door Sizes. Generally, entry door widths of 30 inches, 32 inches and 36 inches are considered standard and are readily available in home improvement and hardware stores. The standard height of an entry door is 80 inches, and the standard thickness is 1 ¾ inches.

Sliding doors are usually either 60 inch in width if they are 5 foot wide. If it's 6 foot wide, it measures up to 72 inches. The height is usually 80 inches, though it may vary from one manufacturer to another. If you want to measure it, remove the wood trim first.

To a door 60 inches wide, add 5 inches for a curtain panel 65 inches wide. To a door 72 inches wide, add 8 inches for a curtain panel 80 inches wide. To doors greater than 72 inches wide, add 8 to 12 inches to the door width. Wider doors should have a larger stacking distance.

- Common lengths for standard curtain or drapery panels are 63 inches, 84 inches, 95 inches, 108 inches and 120 inches.
