The US Postal Service's Priority Mail is a quick yet economical way to mail packages under 70 pounds within the United States. Using Priority Mail Flat Rate packages designed by USPS or your own boxes, you can ship items across the country and have them arrive in one to three days to most locations.
USPS: Priority Packages Not Guaranteed To Arrive In 2 Days. If you used the United States Postal Service's priority mail thinking it would be delivered in two days, you should know, the post office says the service is not guaranteed to arrive on a particular day.
If You Are Shipping Items Under 2 Pounds… USPS will always be cheaper than FedEx or UPS hands down. However as the weight creeps closer to 2 pounds, USPS pretty much reaches pricing parity with UPS and FedEx Ground. USPS really shines when your package weighs less than 13 oz and can be mailed via First Class mail.
USPS Priority Mail Express is a guaranteed way to send documents and packages to a destination overnight or in one to two days on any day of the year, including Sundays and holidays. If the US Postal Service doesn't deliver your package on time, they will refund the full delivery cost to you.
The United States Postal Services reports that as of January 2018, it takes an average of one to three days for First-Class Mail to arrive at its destination. Priority Mail likewise takes one to three days. USPS only includes the time a package stays in transit in their estimations.

A USPS overnight flat rate envelope ships to “most places” for only $17.50 regardless of weight or distance. If you can fit it in the envelope, it's only $17.50. UPS and FedEx don't do that, so prices vary depending on what you're sending.
With FedEx Priority Overnight, your shipment will arrive by 10:30 a.m. to most U.S. addresses. Next-business-day delivery by 10:30 a.m. to most U.S. addresses; by noon, 4:30 p.m. or 5 p.m. in remote areas; by noon, 1:30 p.m. or 4:30 p.m. on Saturdays. Check transit times.
Formerly known as Express Mail, Priority Mail Express is USPS's fastest shipping service. Depending on the distance a shipment must travel, USPS will make a service commitment of 1 to 3 business days for domestic shipments.
Certified Mail and Registered Mail are two USPS services that provide proof that an envelope or package reached its destination. The primary differences between Certified Mail and Registered Mail involve mail handling and the level of security used to protect mail from loss, damage or theft.
Certified Mail costs $3.35. That fee is in addition to the First Class Mail or Priority Mail delivery fee to send the mailpiece. Additional services for Certified Mail include Return Receipt. The cost of Return Receipt is $2.75 for a mailed receipt or $1.45 for an Electronic Receipt that is emailed to you.

Priority Mail International. If you need your mail to arrive anywhere across the world faster than First-Class Mail International, you can try Priority Mail International, which will deliver your package within 6 to 10 days anywhere the USPS services - over 190 countries!
While the USPS website states delivery times of 2-8 business days, in our experience it can take noticeably longer. In my opinion, you should avoid Standard Post altogether. I'd much rather use UPS or FedEx Ground delivery which guarantees delivery within 5 days.
However, USPS Priority Mail International® offers tracking on most (but not all) products. That's because once you expand to international markets and your orders are accepted outside U.S. borders, the packages might not always be eligible for tracking.
For domestic express shipping, a package frequently takes 1-3 days to arrive at its destination. Most often, domestic express shipping arrives the following day. However, for international shipments, it can take up to 4 business days for the package to arrive.
