How much does 75g of dry pasta weigh when cooked?
On the packet it states, to allow 75g of dried pasta per person. Then on the nutrition side it states that 75g of dried pasta equals approximately 170g when cooked.
For short pastas and egg noodles, like elbow macaroni, shells, spirals, wagon wheels, ziti, etc., 2 ounces uncooked is roughly equal to 1/2 cup dry and about 1 cup cooked (Larger, bulkier shapes such as bowties, penne rigate, rigatoni, and wide noodles may yield more, while smaller shapes such as Stars or Alphabets may
- Since I usually only cook about 1 to 1.5 cups of dry pasta (around 100g to 150g) for bentos, that's the amount I started with. - Then on the nutrition side it states that 75g of dried pasta equals approximately 170g when cooked. So 75 g (170g cooked) has 50.3 g of carbohydrates.
We also received a carb list from our dietician. In there it says 100g cooked pasta equals 2cp(carbohydrate points).

- Size. According to Medline Plus, the serving size for spaghetti noodles is usually 2 ounces of uncooked noodles, or 1 cup of cooked pasta.

- so when it was divided into the amount of one person, it seems either 1/4 pound or 110~113 grams. but the dried pasta such as spaghetti i buy usually is packaged as a 500 grams bundle. and in the package it says about 100 grams per person for consuming.
