How long is officer school?

After completing a four-year degree, graduates may enroll in Officer Candidate School (OCS). This is also known as Officer Training School (OTS) in the Air Force. OCS/OTS varies in length between Services but generally lasts 9 to 17 weeks. Courses focus on military subjects, physical training and leadership skills.

The United States Army's Officer Candidate School (OCS), located at Fort Benning, Georgia, trains, assesses, and evaluates potential commissioned officers in the U.S. Army, U.S. Army Reserve, and Army National Guard.

Where is the naval flight school?

Those entering aviation programs must first attend Officer Candidate School (OCS) in Newport, R.I., and then complete a six-week air indoctrination course at Naval Aviation Schools Command, in Pensacola, Fla. From there, prospective Pilots and NFOs attend primary flight training.
