How long do you bake chicken cutlets at 425?
Shown below is a shot of the chicken breast in a baking pan with all the seasonings – thyme, basil and oregano, along with salt and pepper. We prefer range-free chicken because it is healthier than chicken raised conventionally. Preheat oven to 425°. Place in the oven and bake for about 20 minutes.
How to Bake Chicken Breasts
- Purchase boneless, evenly sized chicken breasts.
- Preheat your oven to 375 degrees F.
- Place chicken breast in an ovenproof baking dish.
- Season with salt and pepper and any herbs and spices.
- Put the baking dish in the oven and cook for about 15–20 minutes.
- How Long to Cook a Whole Chicken
- 2-1/2 to 3 pounds: Roast at 375 degrees F for 1 to 1-1/4 hours.
- 3 to 3-1/2 pounds: Roast at 375 degrees F for 1-1/4 to 1-1/2 hours.
- 3-1/2 to 4 pounds: Roast at 375 degrees F for 1-1/4 to 1-3/4 hours.

- Chicken breast cutlets are a boon for weeknights because they cook so quickly—about 5 minutes in a skillet and they're done. Cutlets from the grocery store are often unevenly sized, so we prefer to buy boneless, skinless chicken breasts and slice them ourselves.
- Place chicken wings on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil. Pour the marinade over the wings. Bake in preheated 375°F oven 40 minutes or until chicken wings are to an internal temperature of 190°F.
