Ways To Increase Your Metabolism
  1. Do HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) Regular cardio raises your metabolism while you're doing it, but once your finished, your metabolism returns to its regular rate.
  2. Lift Weights.
  3. Build Muscle.
  4. Eat Protein.
  5. Eat 5-6 small meals a day.
  6. Eat real food.
  7. Drink water.
  8. Drink green tea.

Do laxatives speed up your metabolism?

As described above, fiber only speeds up colonic transit time—it does not influence the rate at which our body's cells utilize food energy. Similarly, taking laxatives to help you go to the bathroom does not speed up the metabolism such that you'd burn more calories than normal.
