How do you get rid of muscle soreness?

Heat will get rid of muscle soreness by bringing more blood to the sore area helping speed up recovery and Heat gets rid of stiffness while relaxing your muscles. You can easily apply heat to your sore muscles for about 10 minutes by taking a hot bath or shower, using a heating pad, sauna or hot tub.

What helps muscle soreness go away?

The best way to prevent soreness and injury is prevention, so add these elements to your game plan:
  1. Stretch it out.
  2. Warm up before weight training.
  3. Hydrate.
  4. Work out with correct form.
  5. Jump in an ice bath.
  6. Heat up later in the day.
  7. Reach for pineapple or tart cherries.
  8. Use your sore muscles.

Why does my body pain after exercise?

When muscles are required to work harder than they're used to or in a different way, it's believed to cause microscopic damage to the muscle fibres, resulting in muscle soreness or stiffness. DOMS is often mistakenly believed to be caused by a build up of lactic acid, but lactic acid isn't involved in this process.
