How do I roast nuts in the oven?
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- Toast nuts BEFORE chopping them into smaller pieces.
- Place nuts or seeds in a single layer in an ungreased shallow pan or RIMMED baking sheet such as a cookie sheet or jelly roll pan.
- Bake 5 to 10 minutes or until they are GOLDEN brown.
- Remove from pan to cool.
Heat your oven to 350 degrees F. Bake for approximately 10 minutes or until they are golden brown and fragrant. Note that because of their high oil content, the almonds will continue to roast after you remove them from the oven.
- 1) Preheat your grill/smoker to 225°F in the indirect zone. 2) Soak the nuts in water for 10 minutes and then drain. Sprinkle with the salt and stir. 3) Place on an oiled grill topper and smoke for 30 minutes, stirring and flipping after 15 minutes.
- Wash nuts for 5 seconds.
- Keep for 10 to 12 minutes in a filter to drain all the water.
- Sprinkle 1 teaspoon of salt and rub it on the nuts.
- Keep for 40 minutes to marinate.

- Shuffle them and put them again in the oven for 1 minute.
- Start almond nut harvesting when 95 percent of the drupes on the tree split. The first step in harvesting almond nuts is to gather the drupes that have already split and fallen. After that, spread a tarp beneath the tree. Start picking almond nuts from the branches you can reach on the tree.
- Heat oven to 350 degrees F.
- Spread almonds on an ungreased cookie sheet.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until they are golden brown and fragrant.
- Check to make sure that the almonds have the proper crunch when bitten into.
- Sprinkle with salt if desired.
- * Additionally 1 fine bladed knife to split & sliver (if needed).
- Boil water and pour over almonds in a small bowl.
- Leave for 2-3 minutes then drain.
- When cool enough to handle squeeze the nut and the kernel will pop out of its skin.
- Use as required.

- Separate the two halves with the knife.
- Steps for a SMOOTH Almond Butter: Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Spread 2 cups of almonds on a baking sheet and roast for 15 minutes. (NOTE: Check the almonds at 10 minutes.
- Toast sesame seeds in a dry skillet over medium heat for 3-5 minutes or until lightly browned, stirring occasionally. Or bake on an ungreased baking sheet at 350° for 8-10 minutes or until lightly browned. Watch to avoid scorching.
