Download a file
- Go to drive.google.com.
- Click a file to download. (To download multiple files, press Shift or Ctrl while clicking other files.)

How to use Google Drive

If you need to quickly create a Google Doc, having the Docs app is really helpful. Additionally, the Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides apps show all the files in one list - Google Drive is organized with folders. So, if you can't remember which folder a Google Doc is in, you can use the Docs app.
Google Drive is a file storage and synchronization service created by Google. It allows users to store files in the cloud, synchronize files across devices, and share files.
Change download locations
- On your computer, open Chrome.
- At the top right, click More Settings.
- At the bottom, click Advanced.
- Under the "Downloads" section, adjust your download settings: To change the default download location, click Change and select where you'd like your files to be saved.
Open Google Drive. Select the shared folder or file in Docs, Sheets, or Slides and click the Share icon on the top right. When the presumptive owner does not have share access…invite by typing the email address in the “Invite people” field. Then Save.

Using the new iOS apps and according to the Delete files on your iPhone or iPad Help Center article:
- Open the Drive, Docs, or Sheets app.
- Find the file you want to delete.
- Touch the grey i next to the file name.
- Select Remove.
Upload & view files
- On your Android phone or tablet, open the Google Drive app.
- Tap Add .
- Tap Upload.
- Find and tap the files you want to upload.
- View uploaded files in My Drive until you move them.
To do this, click on the Google Drive icon in your computer's taskbar or system tray, then select Preferences. Then check the box next to "Only sync some folders to this computer." Select which folders you'd like to sync to your Google Drive folder, then click Apply changes.
View & open files
- Go to drive.google.com.
- Log into your Google account with your username and password.
- Double-click a file.
- If you open a Google Doc, Sheet, Slides presentation, Form, or Drawing, it will open using that application.
- If you open a video, PDF, Microsoft Office file, audio file, or photo, it will open in Google Drive.
The location where Google Drive stores offline docs is in Android's file system [sdcard/android/data/com.google.android.apps.docs/]. A folder inside it is named "filespinned_docs_files_do_not_edit" and the folders within are long random strings with actual files inside them. I hope this helps.
Step 1: Plug the flash drive into a free USB port on your computer. Step 2: Log in to your Gmail account and go to Google Docs. Locate the folder in the Google Drive that contains all the files you would like to put on the flash drive. Step 3: Select the file you want to download by clicking on it.

- Tap Google and then tap the Gmail account you want to remove.
