How a star is born?

A star is born when atoms of light elements are squeezed under enough pressure for their nuclei to undergo fusion. All stars are the result of a balance of forces: the force of gravity compresses atoms in interstellar gas until the fusion reactions begin.

How stars are formed step by step?

Steps to the formation of stars and planets:
  1. Clouds of gas form within galaxies.
  2. Formation of structure within the gas clouds, due to "turbulence" and activity of new stars.
  3. Random turbulent processes lead to regions dense enough to collapse under their own weight, in spite of a hostile environment.
