This tropical plant breaks down and neutralizes toxic gases like benzene, formaldehyde, and carbon monoxide.

Blossoms last longest before turning brown on a peace lily that gets excellent care. A peace lily usually requires watering about once a week. Allow the plant to dry out a little before watering, so its leaves begin to droop, then stand it in room temperature water until the surface is moist.
