Can you put vinegar on a dog?

The best way to apply is by making a 50/50 solution of apple cider vinegar and water in a spray bottle and applying directly onto itchy spots, but NOT open wounds – the vinegar will sting if the wound is raw. If you can't apply topically and yeast is the main concern, you can feed ACV in your pet's food or water.

Considering this, can I use vinegar to bathe my dog?

When you use vinegar to alleviate a skin problem or simply to enhance your dog's coat, you won't actually put it in his shampoo or the bath water. Rub your dog as you pour the vinegar water over him to distribute it through his coat, then rinse him a couple times with clear water, scrubbing with your fingers all over.
